Preventive maintenance

If you pay proper attention to your Jaguar or Aston Martin auto maintenance needs, you will save a lot of time, money and aggravation by avoiding untimely expensive repairs.  Below is a suggested maintenance schedule.

Every 5,000 Miles Or At Least Once A Year

Basic Oil Change

(Takes approximately 1 hour to complete)

The oil and oil filter should be replaced every 5,000 miles. Furthermore, coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid/wipers, tires wear/age  and tire pressure are also checked.

 Annual Service or Every 10,000 miles

(Takes approximately  2 1/2 hours to complete)

Perform BASIC OIL CHANGE. Test, charge and retest the battery, replace as needed. The average life span of a battery is 3 years. Inspect the air filter, replace as needed. Inspect pollen filter, replace as needed. Clean the Throttle Body and Mass Air Flow sensor. Check cooling system hoses for swelling, leaking and check spare tire air pressure. Check serpentine belt for cracking and wear. Lube all the hinges, latches and seals. Add a commercial grade fuel system cleaner to the gas tank. Test brake fluid for moisture. Check the brakes, suspension and undercarriage pipes and lines for leaks and road debris damage.  Clean engine area and road test.

Every 30,000  60,000 and 90,000 Miles

(Takes approximately 4 hours to complete)

Perform BASIC OIL CHANGE, plus ANNUAL SERVICE. Replace fuel filter. Test and replace engine coolant as needed. Test and replace brake fluid. Clean engine area and road test.
